Halvat is NOT a B&B. Halvat is a home from home. Halvat is the BEST guest house in the world. Mumo's breakfast is a legend and Valida is CRAZY. This is the most wonderful people, in the most wonderful home, in the most wonderful city, in the most wonderful country in the world. My heart is in Sara, please take care of it until I return. I love you both very much(and Timur & Gigi ) Rab and Liz from Scotland.

This Guest House was an absolute pleasure to stay at during my visit to Sarajevo. I believe that Valida and Mumu are some of the nicest people on the face of this earth! I was conducting research in Sarajevo for my university in Canada and I am grateful for Valida's a**tance with my reseach and the yummy breakfast and black tea she provided me with. I am looking foward to returning soon.

Hi!
We stayed at your guesthouse in July 2006. We had a wonderful stay and you were very kind to us. It was amazing to see how well Sarajevo, and the rest of Bosnia, has recovered since last time I was there in IFOR 1 & 2 in 1995/96.

The greatest moment on our trip to Bosnia was of course when I asked my girlfriend to marry me, and she said yes. She didn`t see that one comming.(we`re getting married 30.08.08) :-)

Bosnia is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. And the people living there are extremely friendly. When we return we will of course stay at your guesthouse again.

We can highly recommend you to anyone who are travelling to Sarajevo.

We wish you our best.

Regards

The 4 Vikings Of The North.

To Valida, Mumo, and everyone else at Halvat Guest House who worked to make our stay in Sarajevo such a perfect one – thank you so much! To those who are considering a visit to Sarajevo, please go. Of all the many places I’ve traveled, Sarajevo is by far the most endearing and special. The city is busy recovering and moving on and the evidence of local commitment to such progress is everywhere. What an incredibly beautiful place. Halvat Guest House is the perfect place from which to base your visit. Its location is ideal, the rooms are beautiful, spacious, and spotlessly clean, and most importantly, everyone working there is kind, incredibly helpful and anxious to make sure your stay is a comfortable one. I loved every minute of my visit and I am so glad that I found Halvat Guest House.
Evelyn

Hi, Valida, Mumo, Timur, Gigi, Neira, Anisa, Nevza, Alen & Faris & family. You all were so wonderful to me when I was there in September 2006 and thanks for taking care of me when I was ill :-). Anyone reading this website, I hope you make your plans to stay at Guesthouse Halvat. It is the BEST place in Sarajevo, for location and the wonderful people who keep it up. To Adrijana--I unfortunately didn't get to see Sarajevo before 15 years ago, but I can tell you that Sarajevo looks great. Everyone has worked so hard and it is beautiful, with all the feeling of the history and cultures that live on as strong as ever. To anyone who hasn't been to Sarajevo, please visit. You will be most pleased. And remember--Guesthouse Halvat is THE place. Best regards to everyone.

Dear Mumo and Valida,

I am from Sarajevo but I am writing in English so that anyone who visits your website can udersatnd.
I have not yet stayed in your guest house but I must say that your website is fantastic and your prices are even better.
My partner and I are visiting Sarajevo(him for the first time and me 15 years later. I was one of those unlucky ones who had to leave my hometown)and we both can't wait.
I look forward to hopefully meeting you both soon.

Good luck in the future!
Adrijana and Stuart
