we've just got home from our stay in Sarajevo and I just wanted to say thanks for providing such great accomodation at such a great price. all the staff we met were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing. it's a great place to stay if you want to explore the city. see you again.

We stayed in Halvat guest house too shortly (just 2 nights) but it was sufficient to "love" this "family".100% I will come back to Sarajevo in a future and I will stay again in this peaceful place! I embrace all!

Dear friends, we want to tell you sad news that our dear member of family,our best friend and part of Halvat staff ,our dalmatian dog GIGI this morning passed away in his 14th year. We will never forget his wonderful black eyes and his behavior of an gentleman! GIGI we love you!!!

We have just returned to Norway after a wonderful week in Sarajevo. The accomodation at Halvat Guest House was wonderful with great room, friendly staff and magnificent breakfasts! We`ve already made a promise of returning to Bosnia, Sarajevo and Halvat - rather sooner than later as it such and easy city to fall in love with.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying Guest House Halvat during our visit to Sarajevo. Mumo, Valida, Gigi & the rest of staff made us feel like we were visiting family. It is definitely is the best guest house in the world and made our visit extra special. We hope to visit Sarajevo again and stay at Guest House Halvat again! Virginia Mirowski

Halvat is NOT a B&B. Halvat is a home from home. Halvat is the BEST guest house in the world. Mumo's breakfast is a legend and Valida is CRAZY. This is the most wonderful people, in the most wonderful home, in the most wonderful city, in the most wonderful country in the world. My heart is in Sara, please take care of it until I return.
